Welcome to New Student Orientation

Your bright future begins here with New Student Orientation

You can go anywhere from here! And that journey begins with New Student Orientation (NSO). Orientation is the first step to achieving your goals as a student at SDSU.

New Student Orientation is a program designed just for you, now that you've chosen SDSU.  Whether you're a new, transfer, or readmit student, NSO is designed to "orient" you to SDSU.

Below are just a few reasons to attend Orientation

Connect with other students.

                         Learn about campus resources.

                         Tour the university.

Meet with deans and faculty in  your major.

                         Register for your classes.

                         Finalize paperwork.

                         And much more!

Additional Information

The New Student Orientation Office coordinates Orientation programs for new students during the summer, fall, and spring terms.  Whether you're a new, transfer, or readmit student, we've got a session designed specifically for you. Attendance at Orientation is necessary and experience has shown that students who attend the Orientation program feel much better prepared for life at SDSU.

Now that you know what NSO is about, follow the links on the side to learn more about program specifics, or to register for a session.

We are glad that you have chosen to attend SDSU and we look forward to meeting you during Orientation!
