Central Reservations

The Student Union is the community center for
all members of the South Dakota State University
family, including students, faculty, staff,
alumni, and guests. While being an integral part
of the educational program of SDSU, the Union
also provides a venue for social interaction,
multiculturalism, and recreational activities on
a year-round basis.
Over the years, the Student Union’s growth of
services has reflected the changing needs of the
SDSU community, and improvements to the
facilities have transformed the building into a
true university union – the center of campus
activities. We are proud to be the central
meeting point where the SDSU family and guests
gather to pursue nonacademic activities.
The Union offers a variety of facilities and
services to accommodate your meetings,
conferences, workshops, or catered functions. It
is also centrally located and adjacent to two
parking facilities. Architecture and décor of
the building are incomparable to any other
public meeting facility in South Dakota. The
University Student Union is an exciting place to
meet.
In addition to our facilities, we provide the
highest level of professional service and
attention to detail, which ensures the success
of your event.
Central Reservations is responsible for
providing reservation services for the
University Student Union as well as reserving
rooms around campus before 8 A.M. and after 5
P.M. as well as on weekends.
We are striving to bring the entire process
online. In the interim, please review the
information on this site and then contact the
Central Reservations office for reserving rooms
for your next event. Appointments can also be
made with the Union staff to discuss special
setups and requests to help insure that your
event is successful and runs smoothly.
