The Student Policies Manual is a collection of pertinent policies affecting students at SDSU. The Student Policies Manual is arranged in chapters. The Table of Contents on the following page displays the Chapter titles and page locations.

The heart of the SDSU Student Policies Manual is contained in Chapter 1 - The Student Code. It defines general student rights and responsibilities, and outlines the University Judicial System. The remaining chapters provide detailed policies and procedures on student affairs and services matters.

Most of the policies contained in this Manual are under the supervision/ authority of the Student Affairs Committee. This committee, equally represented by students and faculty members, meets normally on a monthly basis. Persons desiring to secure information on, or changes in the policies outlined in this Manual, are urged to contact either the SDSU Student Affairs Division Office, 688-4493, Administration Building room 318, or the Student Association Office, at 688-5181, Student Union Building room 103.

Copies of the Student Policies Manual may be located at the desk of each University Department’s Central Office. Please contact your College’s Department Head for access to the Manual. If any faculty, staff, or student wish to obtain a copy of the manual, please contact the Student Affairs Office, Administration building, room 318, or call 688-4493.
