only provide assistance to 160 students, because of this
we need students that are interested in the program to

to go to the application. The
application can be filled out on a computer if you have Adobe
Acrobat 5.0 or later. You will then need to print out the form,
sign it by hand, and send it to the below address.

The Student Support Services program provides
assistance for undergraduate students who meet the Department of
Education’s requirements. It is open to students who:
1)
are enrolled or accepted for
enrollment at SDSU
2) are U.S. citizens or resident aliens (green card holders) or
making an application for citizenship
3) are at least one of the following:
First generation- you are a
first generation college student if neither of your parents
has a bachelor’s degree prior to your 18th birthday.
Disabled- students who require
accommodations or services because of a physical,
psychological, and/or learning disability.
Low Income- Students must meet the
guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Education for this
program (this is based on taxable income). Family adjusted
gross income falls below these levels determined by the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services:
